Many of the great talents in sport, music, art etc. were discovered as children. Some great pianists were already playing music at the age of three. Tiger Woods, the famous golfer used to play golf in the sitting room of his house with his grandfather. By the age of four Michael Schumaker was driving go karts. Giorgetto Giugiaro the renowned designer was discovered by his teacher at kindergarten. In all these cases a teacher together with an instrument, be it piano, golf club, go-kart paper and pencil, and the talent emerged. Without the teacher or the instrument and the talent would never have appeared. Maybe there are also other talents in other fields such as science, mathematics, medicine etc. waiting to be discovered if only we had the right instruments and visionary teachers. Maybe an old radio or washing machine coupled with a retired engineer could form an explosive mixture as it brings together people at the opposite ends of the spectrum.
